For my university capstone project, I built SPACE Notes — a smart mobile application that helps students summarize notes (PDFs, text, or videos) and generate quizzes instantly using AI. It's designed to support more effective studying with the power of Large Language Models.
What is SPACE Notes?
SPACE Notes is a mobile-first app tailored to student needs. Key features include:
- 📄 Upload documents or videos to get instant summaries
- ✍️ Auto-generate multiple-choice quizzes from uploaded materials
- 🧠 Personalized learning experiences with topic tracking
- 🌐 Multilingual support and clean UI for usability
Tech Stack
The app combines advanced backend infrastructure with user-first design:
- Frontend: Flutter
- Backend: NestJS, KrakenD API Gateway
- Architecture: Microservices with RabbitMQ
- AI & LLMs: Fine-tuned models using PyTorch + Hugging Face
- Storage: Supabase + PostgreSQL

My Role
I led the entire project as solo developer:
- Designed system architecture
- Trained and integrated the LLM for summarization
- Developed mobile UI and backend services
- Used KrakenD and RabbitMQ to decouple services for performance
- Presented the project at AUIS and internal demo days
